Advanced Diagnostic Screening
An advanced diagnostic screening (ADS) refers to a comprehensive and detailed evaluation conducted by a trained psychologist to help you understand complex psychological disorders or conditions. This type of assessment goes beyond basic or preliminary evaluations and aims to provide a thorough understanding of your diagnosis including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, OCD, personality traits, and behaviors. An ADS does not include testing for autism.
ADS takes place in two visits, the first to gather in-depth information and the second to discuss interpretation of your results. It is also presented in an easy to read and understandable report which can be shared with your healthcare team. ADS also includes brain-based techniques to improve stress management, sleep, attention and overall well-being.
This service is available to individuals 17+ years of age and is covered by BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, Tricare, and United Healthcare.
